Each station/company is unique and has unique needs. That's why we designed SPARC to have fully customizable forms.

Next, let's take a look at the options for creating our custom fields.
Start with a label for the field. We'll use birthdate in this example.
Then we decide what type of field we need. There are five options
- Text Field - This is a standard, one-line text field. If something requires a short, typed-out entry, this field is best.
- Large Text Field - If you need more space for text, then this field is best. It allows for longer, paragraph-style entries.
- Date Picker - This will display a calendar for the user to specify a specific date.
- Dropdown - This allows users to pick from a list of options in a dropdown menu. To specify the options, add each option in the "Options" section directly below "Field Type". Separate each option with a semi-colon (;).
- Checkbox - A "Yes or No" type checkbox.
For our example, we'll use the "Date Picker" option since we're requesting the winner's birthdate.
Since we're not using a dropdown, we can leave the "Options" section blank.
If the field you're creating is required before the form can be submitted, check the box "Required Field". This will not allow the user to submit the form unless this field has been filled out.
The "Sort" section allows you to decide in which order this field appears on your form. If left at 0, the fields will be added to the form in the same order that they were created. If a "1" is added, this field will appear as the first custom field on the form. "2" would be the second, and so on.
Click the green "Add Field" button and you're done. The field will appear on that form going forward.
